The Vice Deanship of Development and Quality implemented Quality Day 2020 AD under the slogan “Customer Satisfaction” on Tuesday (09/04/1441 AH) corresponding to (11/24/2020 AD). This event began with verses from the Holy Quran recited by Sheikh Abdullah Al-Qarni. After which, Ms. Eman Othman delivered a short introduction about Quality Day. This included how PSMCHS dealt with the emerging corona virus pandemic “Covid 19”, so that the educational and administrative services were not affected. Then His Excellency the Dean of the College, Dr. Edan bin Musa Al-Zahrani gave his speech , he stated that the year 2020 AD was not only challenging  with the pandemic, but it was also a year  full of achievements,  such as obtaining ISO accreditation and delivering institutional academic accreditation requirements.

This was followed by the Vice Dean of Development and Quality, Maj./Dr.Othman A. Alfahad , in which he thanked all faculty members and staff for their continuous support  and noted that the Dean’s Quality Award aims to motivate everyone to  participate in maintaining  quality in the work place. After that, a video was presented about the College and its facilities, which was followed by Dr. Naveed Ahmed. He talked about beneficiaries’ satisfaction and shared the results of the College’s satisfaction over the past three years, which indicated the continues rise in the satisfaction indicators.The Vice Deanship invited Dr. Ameera Aldossary, Director of Nursing for Postgraduate Training at King Fahd Specialist Hospital in Dammam. Her presentation  was on how to achieve quality in dealing with crises in the educational sectors. Then Ms. Reem Al-Dossary, a student from the HIM department introduced the Quality Students Club. She shared the club’s mission, vision and objectives. The event included a quality competition to answer related quality questions, and the winners were announced at the end of the competition.After that, the head of the Strategic Planning Unit, Mr. Sam Sarfo, gave a speech about his experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, special attention was given to his experiences at PSMCHS. In conclusion, Dr. Khaldoun Khayyat announced the winners of this year’s Dean’s Quality Award. Also, the guests of the event were honored.

This was followed by a speech by the College’s Undersecretary for Development and Quality in which he thanked all faculty members and staff for their continued efforts and noted that the Dean’s Award for Quality aims to motivate everyone to participate in quality work. After that, a video was shown about the college and its facilities. In addition, Dr. Naveed Ahmed talked about the topic of satisfaction of the beneficiaries, where he shared the results of satisfaction for the college over the past three years showing the continued high percentages of satisfaction indicators.

The agency hosted Dr. Amira Al Dossari, Director of Nursing training at King Fahd Specialist Hospital in Dammam, as she shared how to achieve quality in dealing with crises in the educational sectors. Then, student Reem Al Dossari from the Department of Health Information Management introduced the Student Quality Club, where she shared with the audience the goals, values and mission of the club.

The event then featured a quality competition and the winners were announced at the end. The head of the Strategic Planning Unit, Sam Sarfo, then spoke about his experience in Saudi Arabia, particularly at Prince Sultan Military College of Health Sciences in Dhahran. In conclusion, Dr. Khaldoun Khayat announced the winners of the Dean’s Quality Award and honored the guests of the event.
