The institutional purpose of the Prince Sultan Military College of Health Sciences is to provide qualified students of diverse backgrounds with an excellent medical education within an atmosphere of academic integrity and scholarship that fosters the highest standards in professional ethics and competence. The college is dedicated to develop students with a lifelong commitment to patient care centered research, public / private health and community service.

The principal function of the College is to educate and train High School Graduates (Science Stream), in order to become qualified medical technicians and serve in the different applied medical jobs of the Medical Services Divisions, and conducting military courses for (Officers, NCOs and Civilians) in several fields.

Mission

The mission of computer department is to provide students with an understanding of computer science concepts, processes, and tools, and to equip students with analytical, design, and communication skills necessary.

Our department strives to provide a current and comprehensive for the teaching and learning of computer science and related professional values.

Our department recognizes its responsibility to technically support all college departments.

Our department maintains an awareness of current needs and anticipated future needs of the college.

Vision

To be known as a department providing high quality education and to be recognized as a centre of excellence that provides leadership.

Objectives

Teaching:

- To provide quality teaching.
- To organize workshops, conferences and training programs.
- Where resources & facilities permit, teaching techniques and technologies that is most effective for computer science instruction will be used.

Services:

- All end users will be technically supported.
- Maintenance for all the computers in the network, internet and intranet networks.
- Automation of existing manual work to computerized system to reduce human error and professional outcome.  
- Computer department members will make themselves available to facilitate the college at any time.
