The Dean of Prince Sultan Military College of Health Sciences in Dhahran, Dr. Eidan bin Mousa Al-Zahrani, signed an Institutional Collaboration with the Eastern Health Cluster on Tuesday,27 June 2021. The Eastern Health Cluster was represented its CEO, Dr. Abdulaziz Abdulrahman Al-Ghamdi, who was accompanied by the College’s Vice Deans and Dr. Mohammed Al-Ahmari, Head of Dammam Health Network Operation, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Ateen, Director of the Local and International Cooperation Center, Ms. Mayson Al-Aqeeli, Executive Director of Academic Affairs, and Mr. Asad Al-Yami, Director of Public Relations at the Eastern Health Cluster.

Both parties decided to sign the contract to reflect the Vision 2030 of the Kingdom and the interests and prestige of both institutions in terms of medical and academic research and training. The Institutional Collaboration Contract aims to facilitate the exchange of experience and knowledge and capitalise on the institutions’ common potentials. By working together, it will hopefully be possible to improve educational services, support national development and meet both institutions’ objectives. Furthermore, the Contract emphasizes institutional collaboration in the following three fields: 1) academic training consultancy, 2) programmes and activities development and 3) participation in the preparation of plans in the field of health, academic, and scientific research. Deploying modern methods of cooperative training between the two parties will help develop clinical practice standards and cooperation in clinical education. College students will also benefit from access to both institutions’ learning and training facilities. Finally, we hope that our new partnership with the Eastern Health Cluster will help us to continue to offer our distinguished service to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
