Advisory Board

The college advisory board aims to continuously improve the college’s academic programs, direct its future policies, evaluate its strategic plans, and communicate with the public and private sectors.

About Advisory Board

  • The College Council shall nominate the Advisory Board members, provided that it consists of not less than (10 members) and not more than fifteen members, and the formation is approved by the Director / Dean of the College. The Advisory Board shall consist of the following members:
    – Director / Dean of the College
    – Vice Dean of Academic Affairs.
    – Vice Dean of Post Graduate Studies and Research.
    – Vice Dean of Development and Quality.
    – Six to twelve members experienced in business sectors from inside or outside of Saudi Arabia, from which some should be
    distinguished college graduates.
    – The Advisory Board shall select a Chair and a Secretary from among its members during its first session.
  • The Advisory Board shall meet by the invitation of its chair at least twice annually.
  • Board sessions may be held inside or outside the college.
  • The executive body in the College is responsible for all relevant implementation procedures.
  • The Board may seek the assistance of whoever it deems appropriate to accomplish the tasks assigned to it in accordance with the regulations.
  • Board membership shall be for two years, renewable.
  • Board members are granted a certificate of appreciation when their membership period ends.
  • Provide advice regarding the development of college programs.
  • Help the college in strengthening its relationship with the private and government sectors.
  • Contribute to providing guidance and advice whenever possible to heads of departments of the college.
  • Contribute to developing a college strategy for learning outcomes.
  • Advise on aligning learning outcomes to labor market requirements.
  • Provide advice on issues that directly affect the future plans of the college.
  • Suggest new methods to improve the level of research, academic and administrative performance in the college.
  • Propose strategies to provide financial support for the development of activities and programs at the College.
  • Provide ways to strengthen the partnership between the college and the local and global community.
  • Suggest methods to raise the level of internal quality in the college.
  • Propose strategies to increase the effectiveness of extracurricular activities in the college.
