Under the patronage of His Excellency the Dean of the College, Dr. Eidan Mousa AlZahrani, the Vice Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, organized the Fourth Faculty Scientific Research Day for the year 2021 AD, on Wednesday, Rajab 01, 1443 AH, corresponding to February 02, 2022 AD.

Thirty-two research posters were shown to the participating faculty members, and three research posters were nominated, winning the first three places in this event. Then the event was launched by recitation from the Holy Quraan, followed by a motivating speech by the Vice Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Lamia AlJamea. She assured that progress and development starts with research, and she praised the efforts and achievements of the Vice Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, their interest and keenness on everything that serves research towards achieving the dissemination of a culture of distinguished scientific research.

The Vice dean hosted Dr. Abbas AlMutair, Head of the Scientific Research Center at AlMousa Hospital, and Dr. Hayat Mushcab, Head of the Research Office at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare.

After that, His Excellency the Dean of the College gave his speech emphasizing that the interest in scientific research is not an academic luxury as much as it is a necessary and urgent need. It helps in achieving the aspirations of peoples and reflects the extent of their ambition and determination towards more prosperity and well-being on the various aspects of life. Evidently, in the 2030 vision of an ambitious country, a flourishing economy, and a vibrant society, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be the leader in the Arab world for research and patents.

Concluding the event, His Excellency the Dean of the College honored the guests and distributed certificates of appreciation to the participating faculty members and prizes for the top three places:
