His Excellency the Chief of General Staff, Gen. Fayadh Hamed Al Ruwaili, sponsored today the graduation ceremony of the ninth medical training course at Prince Sultan Military College of Health Sciences in Dhahran on Wednesday (02/06/1443AH). The ceremony was honoured by the presence of His Excellency Director General of the General Directorate of Medical Services Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Ameri, His Excellency the Commander of the Eastern Region, Maj. Gen. Saeed Abdulrahman Abuassaf, and senior officers of the Ministry of Defence.

The ceremony began with verses from the Holy Qur’an followed by the Dean of the college, Dr. Eidan Mousa al Zahrani, speech.  He acknowledged and praised the efforts and the great leadership of the Ministry of Defence to support the College, adding that the course is within the general strategy for the development of the armed forces and health services to produce qualified military colleagues in various military sectors. He added: The number of graduates, (121) doctors and dentists, reached 65% of those enrolled in the fellowship programs of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

The Dean of the College congratulated all the graduates, wishing them success, expressing his thanks to His Excellency the Chief of the General Staff.

Then the student, Nawaf Ibrahim AlFawzan, gave a speech in which he thanked the dean of the college and the faculty members for what they provided, noting the training and qualification they received, and the advanced equipment and capabilities owned by the college.

At the end of the ceremony, the graduates took the oath, after which the results and the names of the outstanding students of the programs and winners of competitions were announced, then the graduates hung their ranks, and a commemorative photo was taken of the graduates with His Excellency.
