The Dental and Oral Care Department at Prince Sultan Military College of Health Sciences in Dhahran organized an educational lecture presented by Dr. Abbas Saud, a dentist and professional photographer. The lecture took place on Wednesday, 28^th Safar 1445 AH \ September 13^th, 2023, in the College Auditorium.

Dr. Abbas discussed how to adjust camera settings for professional dental photography. He also covered the selection of appropriate angles of oral photography; presented different types of lighting used, and emphasized the importance of each type.

The Vice Deanship of Development and Quality held a training workshop entitled “Course Description and Report Building”, on Wednesday, 11 Safar 1444 AH corresponding to September 7, 2022 AD. Dr. Saad Mohammed Al Rabi”ah, Vice Dean of Training and Internship, and Head of the Study Plans and Curriculum Unit, presented the workshop.

The workshop aims to build a description of educational materials by linking them to the national qualification framework in terms of structuring learning outcomes. The workshop also included writing reports for the quarterly materials effectively.

In celebration of the International Day of Law, the Law Department of Prince Sultan Military College of Health Sciences, represented by the head of the department, Dr. Ayed Al Qahtani and Mr. Faris Al Balawi, toured the college. A brochure on the International Day of Law was distributed and a legal competition entitled (Test your legal knowledge) was launched. Prince Sultan Military College of Health Sciences in Dhahran, represented by the Emergency Medical Services Department, participated in the activities of the World First Aid Day under the title “Are you ready to aid to an injured?”, which was organized by the Saudi German Hospital in Dammam on Wednesday 18 Safar 1444 AH corresponding to 14 September 2022 AD.

On Monday, 23 Safar 1444 AH corresponding to September 19, 2022 AD, Laboratory Sciences Department, in cooperation with the Saudi Stem Cell Registry and the Ethar Society, held a symposium on the International Stem Cell Donation Day through the blackboard platform of Prince Sultan Military College of Health Sciences. Where Dr. Najwat, Director of the Saudi Registry for Stem Cell Donors and the Cord Blood Bank at the Medical Research in King Abdullah Centre, gave a lecture to introduce stem cells, the importance of donating it, and how to register on the Saudi Donor Registry platform.

Prince Sultan Military College of Health Sciences in Dhahran signed today, Monday, Safar 23, 1444 AH, corresponding to September 19, 2022 AD, a sponsorship agreement with the Kia Trading Company, whereby the company will sponsor the “Road to PhD” competition by granting a Kia Sonnet car to the college”s students. The agreement aims to encourage students to participate and compete in the college”s programs and activities and to motivate them to enhance and advance their educational gains.
