Coinciding with the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, a group of first-year students enrolled in self-development course organized an event entitled Safe Drive on Wednesday (05/04/1443 AH) corresponding to (10/11/2021AD). It aimed at raising awareness about traffic safety. Brig. Gen. / Dr. Mohammed AlZahrani, Vice Dean of Academic Affairs, launched the event. He praised the efforts of the students and urged them to participate in the college’s activities to inspire their personalities positively. The event included visual presentation of numbers and statistics about the atrocity of traffic accidents in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and working to raise awareness to abide by traffic regulations. It also included a competition on traffic regulations and signals, a simulation game of driving to show the difference between driving with and without a mobile phone.
