The College, represented by the Department of Clinical Laboratories, participated in the Third International Conference (Knowledge, Ability, and Skill) for Pharmacology and Toxicology KSAPT2021 from November 27, 2021 to December 2, 2021 AD. It was organized by Eastern Health in cooperation with the Saudi Society of Pharmacy. Ms. Aisha Al-Ghazwani and student / Reem Al-Dossari represented the college. They scored third place in the “PharmaHackathon” competition, which was in the field of innovation and creativity (the future fuel for the Fourth Industrial Revolution and part of the Kingdom’s vision 2030). The competition also aims to improve the health care sector by overcoming challenges related to the health field as well as promoting and developing innovation in this field. More than 125 contestants and judges from various fields participated in the competition highlighting health practices, toxicology, the importance of joint education among health professionals and the development of new health innovations. The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties approved 100 hours (CME) for the conference, and professional development hours from the British Commission.
