October 2017, The 11th National Conference RESCARE’17 held at Kochi-Kerala, India. Fortunately our college, Prince Sultan Military College played an integral role in the three days of academic and scientific deliberations. The team lead by Mr. Ibrahim Al Balawi conducted a dedicated Respiratory Care Simulation Faculty workshop, first time in the history of a RESCARE conferences. The simulation workshop was attended by selected representatives from highly reputed universities from the various parts of India and it was a remarkable event in the conference. His team included Mr. Abdullah Al Qatani and Mr. Jithin K Sree was the scientific committee chairman of the event who presented three papers in the conference, also faculty in two workshops. Dr. Mohammed Al Ahmari, Vice Dean Post Graduate Studies and Research who supported spend a lot of time for reviewing the application and follow up for getting international AARC level 1 recognition. Dr. Mohammed was the chief guest for the conference but unfortunately he had to apologize from attending the conference. Moreover, Mr. Jithin, respiratory care lecturer and RC lab superintendent has been elected as the General Secretary of the Indian Association of Respiratory Care (IARC), which was announced during the inaugural ceremony. Later in the evening the inaugural function and the cultural programme was truly a harmonious ensemble of the epic that sculpted morals, value system and rich legacy of Indian traditions and an honor for the delegates and the whole PSMCHS team.
