English Department
The Department of English at Prince Sultan Military College of Health and Sciences was established on Safar 16, 1409, corresponding to September 27, 1988, to provide Health sciences courses, through the medium of English, to students at Bachelors and Diploma level. The department is continually reviewing teaching methods both educationally and technologically to ensure that PSMCHS students are up to date with current trends. The current members of the Department continue to provide knowledge to both Bachelors and Masters degrees students in several possible specialties.
Vision
The English department envisions students who become increasingly independent learners; who gain confidence in themselves and with that confidence express their ideas clearly. We envision graduates who are empowered by their education to interact effectively and usefully in their society.
Ultimately, we envision students who grow in understanding of their own discipline within the broader context of liberal studies.
Mission
The mission of the English Department at PSMCHS is to provide high quality education that meets the needs of our students. Our students will be able to build their English Language capabilities, skills and knowledge so as to enhance their opportunities in order to take full advantage of life-long learning.
