Volunteer Opportunity – Eastern Clean 03-27-2021

One of the initiatives under the “Imata Program” revolves around promoting community awareness on hygiene and the importance of preserving our environments by changing the prevailing pattern of dependence and reliance on cleaning companies. To encourage a culture of volunteerism among community members and promote the concept of solidarity in this journey. To emphasise the power of working hand-in-hand amongst society members, overall raising the spirit of citizenship through social responsibility

• Increase the number of volunteers and volunteer hours.
• Keep public places clean.
• Educate and increase community awareness of the importance of environmental conservation. Reduce visual pollution.
• Promote the spirit of citizenship and responsibility of the individual.

From 12 pm in the afternoon to 8 pm in the evening 2021

  • Make sure you register in the Volunteer Registration form & the intended volunteering opportunity.
  • Go to the location with a group of maximum 5 volunteers.
  • Take (pictures/videos) of the area before and after cleaning.
