The Nursing Department of the College held an awareness campaign on (the International Diabetes Day) in cooperation with King Fahad Military Medical Complex in Dhahran. The exhibition was launched by the Assistant Director of the Medical Complex, Brig. Gen. Majed AlTuwaijri, in the presence of the acting head of the Nursing Department, Brig. Gen. / Dr. Yasser AlNaam, on Wednesday and Thursday, (12-13/04/1443 AH) corresponding to 17-18/11/2021 AD. At the beginning, the Nursing Department students explained the importance of awareness and prevention of diabetes, raising awareness of its possible complications, and guiding beneficiaries on how to perform insulin injections. The exhibition included (11) sections, starting with a section entitled “Your Sugar is Controlled”, where the procedure and the initial examination of measuring blood sugar, height and weight were carried out.
